Co-Founder & CEO
I co-founded Blazar, a startup focused on improving cancer patient outcomes by using modern techniques of machine learning and statistical models on clinical data. Before that I did research in brain and oncology-related topics: bacterial meningitis, developmental biology, cell migration, signalling, proliferation and mitosis. I worked with human 3D cellular models, explants and microfluidics in academia and CRO to understand toxicity, response or resistance to cancer therapies. I have a thing for microscopy, image analysis and automation of lengthy soul-draining processes that quantify imageable biological events.
