Head of department at the Nice University Hospital and in charge of Artificial Intelligence in Health Project, Jean-Marc Bereder is an « Expert au Collège du Numérique en Santé de l’ANAP » (National Agency for the Support of the Performance of Health and Medical-Social Establishments). Member of the Scientific Committee of OTESIA (Observatoire des impacts Technologiques, Économiques et Sociétaux de l’Intelligence Artificielle et du numérique) at the Côte d'Azur University. Visceral and digestive oncologic surgeon, wiyh particular skills in the field of treatment in the peritoneal diseases at the Nice University Hospital (Regional Referral Center for Rare Peritoneal Tumors). He contributed to the implementation and development of Hyperthermal Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) and participates in ongoing research projects in this field.
