Launched in 2019, the young French company Pasqal designs and develops quantum processors (QPUs: Quantum Processing Units) and related software tools.
The start-up builds programmable quantum simulators and quantum computers composed of 2D and 3D atomic matrices.
It offers quantum processors using neutral atoms manipulated by laser and which make it possible to perform calculations on demand with a high degree of connectivity and a significant computing power.
In 2021, Pasqal closed a fundraising of 25 million euros.
The money raised will enable it to accelerate its R&D and expand internationally.
