Description
A practicing neurologist and researcher for 10 years, Ignacio was considered by the Spanish specialized media among the “most influential people in healthcare in 2016” and “digital health personality of 2018”, due to his work promoting systemic changes, through information technologies and big data. In 2019 Ignacio was awarded the highest Spanish mention for the under 35, the Princess of Girona Award. His bio includes several degrees in Healthcare Management, along with experience as Head of Strategy at Instituto Ramon y Cajal de Investigación Sanitaria, in Madrid. After licensing from Singularity University (Silicon Valley) in 2014, he founded 2 artificial intelligence start-ups; Savana, for reuse of clinical records in research, and Mendelian, for diagnosis of genetic diseases.
Finally, Ignacio is an international speaker, having helped all thestakeholders in Healthcare, from the European Commission and the Spanish Government to hospitals, European Scientific Societies, and the Pharma industry.
